YOUR SHADE - PRETTY UGLYS

A real last minute effort in which the song was recorded and ready for release, but had no artwork.

I received a text sort of along the lines of ‘Listen to the song, just make something that looks cool and ties to the music'. Within hearing the words 'sunset' and 'sunburn' in the first two lines of the song, I instantly knew we were going for a tropical scene with you would get torched within one minute of stepping outside.

I drew the initial plan up on my lunch break at work, got the approval, then did an all-nighter to get this finished and submitted for the next morning. A real favourite of mine.
