STAY TRUE - PRETTY UGLYS

A brief given to me on possibly the hottest day of the year as we were coming into summer and acai bowels were the only acceptable dinner choice.

Originally titled 'Endless Summer', I came up with the idea of using an iconic Holden Sandman panel van as the main icon of the piece. A true nod to an endless Australian summer. To add some more raw energy, I created a pencil sketched flame background that tied in with the colour scheme of the van and typography, which not only solidified the summer theme but also tied the music to the boys early 2000s pop-punk type sound.
