SUPERNOVA - PRETTY UGLYS

A real fun one to do with the Perth boys.

The metaphor in 'supernova' was that of an old carnival ride in which won't stop and is out of control; just like life sometimes. I took that brief and crafted a custom 90s themed font for the title and then went to town on the graphics.

Aligning old grunge style graphics to suit the music was a real treat and came naturally to the artwork. This one allowed me to go back to my roots of hand drawing weird cartoon like figures with heaps of etched detailing and pastel colours. The border was taken from their previously released single 'Stay True' which allowed for a continuing them in both theirs and my body of works.
