FOR THE FUTURE KIDS EP - DRIBS

The release of Dribs' second EP was met with great excitement in the Wollongong scene, so we were stoked to be called up to design the cover.
Being great mates of ours, it was fun hanging out and talking about the artwork, what they wanted in it and how we would make it work. They wanted something that they could look back on in years and reminisce on what was. Essentially, it was a gift to their future selves, hence the title.
Fully drawn by hand, I captured elements of each of the members lives and the Dribs world. Most notably, the old granny flat from Nathan’s old house in Corrimal where we would hang and jam, as well as his beloved Subie and brothers dog, Lila. References to each of the songs on the EP are scattered throughout the artwork too. You’ll have to give it a listen to understand it all.
