COST THE PEACE - THE TERRYS
The first time we worked with the Gerringong fellas!
Having known majority of the band from going to the same gigs and living in the next town over, it was really exciting seeing the fast rise of The Terrys.
Their manager at the time approached me with the single Cost The Peace and asked for an album cover. It just so happened that I was working on a private piece for myself when I was asked for this job, and so that artwork of my own became the skeleton for the album cover. The central peace inspired logo with the surfboard and flowers (which are synonymous with The Terrys as a flower is their logo) was already completed and fit the theme of the song so well!
I created a custom font for both the title and band to add to the cover. The band title even became their text type logo which was later on used in their collaboration with surf giants, Billabong. It was super sick for myself seeing a logo I designed popping up on a brand I love so much in surf shops all over the place.
