RED WINE CIGARETTES - LACHLAN EDWARDS

An insanely talented singer-songwriter from Newcastle, Lachlan was introduced to me at a party I was having in my granny flat, where he got up and played an impromptu set. Everyone was in awe.

Red Wine Cigarettes does just that; has you in awe from start to finish. With a rustic and laidback flow to his sound, I never want to make a cover that is too overpowering for his songs. The idea of looking out of an apartment window at some American styled backstreet flats was Lachy’s idea and up to me to draw. We ran through a few designs but landed on this one. 

Encapsulating the song name in an artwork sounds tougher than it is, but with this one I think we got it right.
